Merry Christmas from Moor Alive Interiors.
This month we spent time giving back into the community by doing a Room Makeover for Kayla, a Wish Child with New Hope for Kids / Wish Program.
As you can see, it's fresh, beautiful and uplifting. All I will say is this, it wasn't BEFORE! In 4 days, we brought in a team of amazing people and transformed her space.
Here is the BEFORE:
Again.....AFTER.
and BEFORE.
and.....AFTER,
BEFORE.
I think we made someone's Christmas this year. May God be the Glory.
Thank you Katie Hestla/ Artist
Thank you Dawn (Kayla's nurse) for submitting wish to New Hope for Kids. Thank you mom Kathryn. Thank you Jeff & Jessie Jones/ Contractor & overall Handymen (407-712-3970). Thank you UCF Cornerstone Students for raising the money.
Thank you Ryan Pugh with FineWood Studios ( 407-324-3700) for gifting Kayla's cool sign.
I found your blog/website through my friend, Cindy, who lost her hubby in July. Anyway--I also had a little girl with special needs (she went to heaven in March), and I know how much having a nice room means to both the child AND the parents. This is absolutely beautiful. It's lifechanging. God bless everyone who had a hand in making this happen.
ReplyDeleteJean- Thank you for sharing. My goal is to do more of these where ever God leads me....I KNOW there is a need and I KNOW I'm the right person to do these.
ReplyDeleteExtreme Makeover is fun to watch BUT who does this in YOUR community I dare to ask? That's the question I want to answer. The life of EVERY person who walks into Kayla's room is impacted and in doing this, a whole life can change for the better.
I love my job. Now, I want to attract the attention of Give Kids the World, Make a Wish, Angie's List Wishmakers to find more children looking for smiles, hope, peace and love.
